Horoscope Guide December 2018
The Joy, the Challenge, the Love
Astrology and the parent-child relationship
The Giver and the Healer
A rare, special vibe enhances the season of sharing
This month, a rare aspect promises to give an extra boost of good feeling to the holiday, as the North Node of the Moon trines Chiron. The North Node (the point where the Moon crosses the zodiac from South to North latitude) has been a part of astrology since Babylonian times, and Chiron is a “centaur,” a minor planet that many astrologers speak of as a healer. The article on page 32 will tell you exactly what the combination of the two means, how it will affect us, and why we should celebrate its all-too-brief visit.
Our second feature article, “The Joy, the Challenge, the Love,’ on page 38, gives an interesting perspective on the parent-child relationship, showing the role astrology plays by giving us key examples from some well-known lives.
By the way, if you are not already a regular reader of Pat Strickland’s “Starscope,” you should take a look at it this month, as along with her background on the month ahead for each of the signs she has included a special preview of the year ahead, 2019. We’ll have more details about the new year in the January issue, but Pat’s preview is a good place to start.
